Please arrive for 1pm start and we have the courts until 3pm. However, we will have to set up the pickleball nets and take them down again ourselves – this could well be our first lesson !!!!
The Bourne Club address is 12 Frensham Rd, Farnham GU9 8HB. There is parking available, please ensure you park within the marked spaces and don’t block other vehicles. The courts we are using are through the double doors immediately to the left of the entrance door – just come straight in.
Paddles and balls will be provided – initially I’m not sure we will have sufficient for everyone as we’ve had such a wonderful response, so if you have your own paddles/balls please do bring them along. Please also wear proper sports shoes and make sure to bring a drink (the courts can get warm if its a sunny day).
For those of you who are seasoned players, I hope we can get you playing fairly quickly, whilst for the new players and those who have only tried it out before, we will do our best to get you practising and explain the rules as we go.
The pickleball group meets on a trial basis for 7 weeks 27 March until 22 May on Thursdays 1-3pm at the Bourne Club.
