Painting


We have two fortnightly painting groups. Both groups welcome beginners and more experienced painters.

Alison recently shared an article she wrote about the Easter 2023 pop-up art exhibition. It was such a successful meeting that I felt that I wanted to tell more of our U3A members about it:

Painting 1

A friendly painting group for all abilities, with a programme of activities. Help and advice given where necessary. Occasional workshops and demonstrations are organised.

This group meets fortnightly, on Tuesday, from 14.00 to 16.00.

Drawing and Painting for Beginners

Want to have a go at drawing and painting, but not sure where to start? Come and learn a few basic techniques, have fun trying new ideas, and maybe even produce something you’ll be proud of!
